Boyfriend Does My Voice Over! | Fall Olive Green Makeup Tutorial

I have been looking forward to filming this video for a long, long time.  When I first saw the "Boyfriend/Husband Does My Makeup" tag video being shared a couple of months ago, I immediately knew I HAD to get in on it!

The only thing my boyfriend, Brandon, knows about makeup is that it's expensive.  He doesn't know the difference between a Beauty Blender and a Complexion Sponge, and couldn't care less about the different foundation undertones that one can purchase.  However, he does know that makeup and creating makeup looks and tutorials is a big passion of mine, and was actually excited at the opportunity to help me out with a video!

The premise: I film a tutorial, edit it, sit him down at the computer with a microphone, and give him full liberty to describe my makeup application as he wishes.  At times he is hilarious in both his simplistic approach to describing the makeup and brushes, and the self-deprecating nature of makeup tutorials in general.

We both had a lot of fun making this, and I hope you enjoy watching!

EVERYDAY LONG LASTING Makeup Routine & Tutorial | Tips for ALL Skin Types!

Unless you are a beauty blogger or vlogger, the average person does not have many days of the year where they get "glammed up."  Usually you fall into an everyday makeup routine, finding and sticking to your favorite products, and never stray too far from your trusted brands.

My everyday makeup routine changes by the season, sometimes by the month.  As a YouTuber and Beauty Blogger, I am always finding and using new and upcoming products, incorporating them into my makeup routine as a method of "putting them to the test."

My penchant for trying new products, and subsequent makeup addition, has lead me to this: my go-to everyday long lasting makeup routine.  I choose products for those days I know I will be out that won't leave my normal-to-oily skin looking like a greased hamburger at the end of the day.

In this video I also give some tips and tricks for choosing shades of makeup for different skin tones, including highlight, blush, and bronzer, and how to achieve that natural, fresh and matte everyday look!

Romantic Soft Pink Makeup Tutorial

This romantic soft pink makeup tutorial is one of my favorite makeup looks to do.  It is super simple and easy to achieve, and shades of pink look amazing on many different skin tones.  This look is soft and girly, yet sexy at the same time.  It is perfect for both the warm days of spring and summer, and the cooler days of fall.

Full disclaimer: the struggle with my eyeliner during this tutorial was real.  Despite applying tape to either sides of my eyes for a nice crisp and clean liner, I still managed to make one side much thicker and longer than the other.  Of course, I had to compensate, and did the only thing I could do with waterproof liner that didn't include ruining my makeup, which was to make the other perfect side longer and thicker as well. Sigh. #FirstWorldStruggles

Bold Wing & Bright Blue Eyeliner Makeup Tutorial

There is nothing more than a bold wing and a pop of color beneath the lower lash line that yells SPRING! This makeup tutorial was so fun to create, and so simple.  I quickly contoured my eyes, drew on the thickest wing I could possible manage, and then glided ColourPop's Creme Gel Liner in Prance below my lash line to seal the deal.

Spring Pink and Gold Makeup Tutorial

Starting a YouTube channel was one of my foremost blogging goals for 2016, and the day has finally arrived!  After starting a blog I realized that while I enjoy writing and photography, I also wanted to add another interactive element to my makeup tutorials.

This makeup tutorial can be summed up in one word: SPRING!  It is a soft pink and gold look that is perfect for the usual marathon of spring and early summer events; bar-be-ques, weddings, graduations, just to name a few.  Hell, I would even rock this look on a casual day out in an air-conditioned mall while I browse stores and sip on an Iced Skinny Caramel Latte.

This look combines a lot of my most coveted makeup items for spring all into one very easy tutorial.  Sit back, sip some tea, and enjoy the video!
