Glowing Bronze & Dark Lip Fall Makeup Tutorial

Fall makeup becomes something sublimely beautiful when a dark lip is involved.  While the weather is cooling and days are shortening, the lipstick shades are darkening.  Deep purples, sultry reds, and dark browns abound and fill the aisles of beauty stores.

Whenever attempting a dark lip always remember to pair it with more subtle or natural blush, contour and eye shadow colors.  The star of the show will always be the dark lipstick, and any attempt to overpower it with dark face and eye shades will leave you looking like you're headed to a Marilyn Manson concert.  Which is cool if that's what you like, but for the majority a dark lipstick wants to appear regal beautiful.  Stick with light shades like I did her, utilizing brown, copper/gold, and tan for that effortless glowing look..

Also, take your time applying that dark lipstick.  If you make any mistakes use a small amount of concealer to "clean up" any messy areas.  Dark lipstick can be woefully unforgiving.  However, no need to take it seriously, as makeup should be fun and you should feel free to try out new and different lipstick shades!

Glowing Copper Bronze & Gold Makeup Tutorial | ColourPop x Kathleen Lights

ColourPop has long been one of my favorite affordable makeup brands, and KathleenLights has long been one of my favorite YouTubers.  Her collaboration with ColourPop has created a stunning quad of matte and shimmer super shock shades named "Where The Light Is", perfect for giving your eyes a POP of color!

This look uses every one of the quad's shades to create this glowing copper bronze and gold makeup look.  This has to be one of my favorite makeup tutorials created on my YouTube channel thus far.  It perfectly compliments many different skin tones and is absolutely radiating with bronzed beauty!
